श्राद्ध पक्ष की अमावस्या को सर्वपितृ मोक्ष अमावस्या कहते हैं। मान्यता है कि इस दिन सभी ज्ञात-अज्ञात पितरों का श्राद्ध करने से उन्हें मोक्ष की प्राप्ति होती है। इस बार 14 अक्टूबर, शनिवार को यह अमावस्या है। ज्योतिष शास्त्र के अनुसार, श्राद्ध पक्ष की अमावस्या पर कुछ विशेष उपाय करने से पितृ प्रसन्न होते हैं और पितृ दोष भी कम होता है। इसलिए इस दिन भी ये उपाय किए जा सकते हैं।

पीपल में पितरों का वास माना गया है ।सर्वपितृ मोक्ष अमावस्या पर पीपल के पेड़ पर जल चढ़ाएं और गाय के शुद्ध घी का दीपक लगाएं ।

सर्वपितृ मोक्ष अमावस्या पर किसी ब्राह्मण को भोजन के लिए घर बुलाएं या भोजन सामग्री जिसमें आटा, फल, गुड़ आदि का दान करें ।

इस अमावस्या पर किसी पवित्र नदी में काले तिल डालकर तर्पण करें ।इससे भी पितृगण प्रसन्न होते हैं ।

सर्वपितृ मोक्ष अमावस्या पर अपने पितरों को याद कर गाय को हरा चारा खिला दें ।इससे भी पितृ प्रसन्न व तृप्त हो जाते हैं ।

इस अमावस्या पर चावल के आटे से 5 पिडं बनाएं व इसे लाल कपड़े में लपेटकर नदी में प्रवाहित कर दें ।

अमावस्या पर गाय के गोबर से बने कंड़े को जलाकर उस पर घी-गुड़ की धूप दें और पितृ देवताभ्यो अर्पणमस्तु बोलें ।

इस अमावस्या पर कच्चा दूध, जौ, तिल व चावल मिलाकर नदी में प्रवाहित करें ।ये उपाय सूर्योदय के समय करें तो अच्छा रहेगा ।

सर्व पितृ अमावस्या

पितृ पक्ष का आखिरी दिन पितृ अमावस्या होती है। इस दिन कुल के सभी पितरों का श्राद्ध किया जा सकता है। फिर चाहे उनकी मृत्यु तिथि पता न हो। तब भी आप पितृ अमावस्या पर उनका तर्पण कर सकते हैं।

पितृ पक्ष की अमावस्या को सूर्यास्त से पहले ये उपाय करना है। इस उपाय में एक स्टील के लोटे में, दूध, पानी, काले व सफेद तिल और जौ मिला लें। इसके साथ कोई भी सफेद मिठाई, एक नारियल, कुछ सिक्के और एक जनेऊ पीपल के पेड़ के नीचे जाकर सबसे पहले ये सारा सामान पेड़ की जड़ में चढ़ा दें। इस दौरान सर्व पितृ देवभ्यो नम: का जप करते रहें।

ये मंत्र बोलते हुए पीपल को जनेऊ भी चढ़ाएं। इस पूरी विधि के बाद मन में सात बार ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय का जप करें और भगवान विष्णु से कहें मेरे जो भी अतृप्त पितृ हों वो तृप्त हो जाए। इस उपाय को करने से पितृ तृप्त होते हैं पितृ दोष का प्रभाव खत्म होता है और उनका अशीर्वाद मिलने लगता है। हर तरह की आर्थिक और मानसिक समस्याएं दूर होती हैं।

Pitru Paksha, every year, is observed for fifteen days when people visit the river Ganges or banks of other rivers and offer food, water and gifts to their deceased ancestors through priests and Brahmins. It is considered an extremely auspicious time of the year. Auspicious rituals such as Shradh, Pind Daan and Tarpan are performed during this time of the year.

In 2023, these 15 days of reverence will take place from September 29 to October 14.

Here are a few dos and don’ts that we should keep in mind.. During this time, it is believed that the spirits of our departed loved ones visit the mortal realm, and it becomes our duty to offer our respect and prayers.

Here are the dos and don’ts of observing Pitru Paksha 2023 in a compassionate way.

Dos:
